Sandy Lane’s reputation as the most famous Caribbean resort has always been enviable. The resort’s original coral stone façade remains, its classic Palladian style still the perfect foil for the famous beach that fronts it. Three golf courses – including two of Tom Fazio design – are the envy of the Caribbean, whilst its stunning spa offers the latest and most exclusive treatments. Sandy Lane Resort

Each of the spacious rooms at Sandy Lane has an Italian marble floor, plantation-style furniture, a large patio verandah, flat-screen television, entertainment system, private bar, personal in-room safe, specially designed multi-spray showers, parabolic speakers on the verandah and in the bathroom and a whole host of other luxury features.

Orchid and Ocean Rooms offer excellent accommodation for up to two adults, the latter having direct views over the glistening Caribbean sea.

Luxury Ocean Rooms are very spacious and in many hotels would be described as Junior Suites. They also have direct sea views.

All the above rooms are available as interconnecting, if required.

Dolphin Suites are even more luxurious and have a separate living room.

Elegantly decorated Luxury Dolphin and Luxury Orchid Suites have two bedrooms, two bathrooms and a living room and are ideal for families with children accommodated in the smaller room. The former also have direct sea views.

The signature and very private two bedroom Penthouse Suites, located in the Orchid Wing, have two bedrooms, spacious living accommodation and magnificent sea views.

The Villa, which sleeps up to 14 guests is located in a very private and tranquil setting adjacent to the spa and offers extensive living accommodation, private pool, private garden with dining gazebo and its own beach access along with dedicated staff.

Restaurants & Bars

The culinary options are Sandy Lane are now directed by Chef Grant MacPherson, a native of Scotland.

L'Acajou, the hotel's signature restaurant, offers new world cuisine and fine wines in a spectacular, open-air waterfront setting.

The recently refurbished Bajan Blue beachfront restaurant, offers an all-day dining option and a daily changing themed menu.

The Spa Café, located on the pool level of the Spa, serves drinks & snacks throughout the day.

The Monkey Bar, with its intriguingly decorative murals and ceiling, offers a cool haven for evening pre and post dinner drinks, whilst the Terrace Lounge is ideal for open air cocktails under the stars.

The Beach Bar is open daily serving a wide range of drinks and the swim up Pool Bar offers a similar service, poolside.

Spa at Sandy Lane

A splendid Romanesque building, the Spa is fronted by a spectacular waterfall cascading into the large free-form swimming pool.

The world-class, unique facilities include VIP treatment suites enhanced with honed granites, warm woods and mood-enhancing light. Each of the eleven suites offers a private shower, bathroom and changing facilities where you can relax and escape; nine of them feature private landscaped gardens and three have hydrotherapy pools.

Unique treatment concepts blend traditional cultural therapies from the Caribbean, the Far East and Europe with a balanced philosophy of health and well-being. Specialist treatments for golfers are also offered.

Golf at Sandy Lane

The focal point of golf at Sandy Lane is the impressive Club House overlooking the 18th hole of The Country Club Course and The Green Monkey.

The clubhouse serves the three Sandy Lane courses: The Old Nine which was constructed in 1961 and meanders through the Sandy Lane Estate, the Tom Fazio designed Country Club Course - a golfers paradise, and the spectacular Green Monkey Course carved out of an old limestone quarry.

Other Recreation

The Tennis Club at Sandy Lane has nine championship floodlit tennis courts along with a choice of a cushioned hard surface or an artificial grass surface. The resident tennis professional can arrange lessons for all levels of player whilst the tennis department will organise tournaments and 'round robins'.

For those seeking other diversions, while away days on the beach with unlimited complimentary watersports, or take a dip in the freshwater swimming pool.

Children

Children of all ages are especially welcome at Sandy Lane.

The Treehouse Club is a unique facility for children ages 3 to 12 years and offers a fully equipped indoor play space. Tree House Dining is available for lunch and dinner.

The Den Teen Centre offers a selection of activities for older children including internet access stations, pool and table football games and TV in a cool, relaxed environment.

Toddler Corner for 0 - 3 year olds is available, but children do need parental or nanny supervision to attend.
