Croatia and Montenegro

Europe holidays

Overview

These destinations have so much beauty, history and culture to discover, we'd recommend visiting several parts in a trip.

Croatia

Discover Croatia – a country rich in history and beautiful coastline; and Montenegro – the pearl of the Mediterranean. A UNESCO World Heritage city, Dubrovnik is located in the southernmost part of the Dalmatia-Dubrovnik area. Visit beautiful gothic, Renaissance and baroque churches and palaces. The fourth largest island in the Adriatic, Hvar offers a mild climate along with a rich tradition and nightlife. Sample one of the many wines from the region’s vineyards. Istria is the westernmost part of Croatia, with a Mediterranean climate of warm summers and mild winters.

Montenegro

Montenegro in the south of the Adriatic offers wealth, beauty, stunning beaches and clear waters with small coves running down to the Albanian border. The highest region is the Durmitor National Park and is a favourite for winter skiing and summer hiking in a pristine mountainscape, while below, in the deep Tara canyon, rafters challenge its tumbling rapids.
